Research Scientist, Chemistry

We are currently seeking a Research Scientist, Chemistry to join our Chemistry Team. Successful candidate will perform multi-step synthesis, purification and characterization of organic compounds as part of an effort to design/optimize molecules for the support of pre-clinical oncology programs. Experience with hit-to-lead structure activity relationship (SAR) projects, the design of kinase inhibitors, supervisory responsibilities, and a track record of developing intellectual property and publishing contributions in scientific journals are highly desirable. Excellent written, oral, and database-searching skills are essential. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute experiments in an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements:
This role requires a Ph.D. in organic chemistry or related field and 1-4 years industry experience in medicinal chemistry. Position requires demonstrated proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought. Requires expert knowledge of scientific principles and concepts. Advanced analytical skills as well as general computer skills are required.
